After a very long wait we are very pleased to say Edinbrick is back!
After a couple of years off thanks to the pandemic we are back for 2022, we will be returning on Saturday 14th May 2022 to Potterrow Dome. In our first event since 2019 we will be focused on delivering a similar event to the past with a few changes to accommodate extra protections for Covid-19.
Edinbrick 2022 will once again be raising money for Fairybricks.org the LEGO Charity in the UK that donates LEGO to children in hospital to use. We are keeping tickets at the same low price of £3 per person for 2022.
We will have new models on display, the ever popular everyone’s a winner Tombola and LEGO for sale.
We are still reviewing the interactive actives we might be able to put on, but fair warning, it’s likely we won’t have the Build Zones.
We will also be online tickets only. Our original batch of tickets have sold out however if you stay tuned to our Facebook page we will hopefully be able to announce and release an extra batch. www.facebook.com/Edinbrick/ .
Government and Venue Covid-19 protocols will be applied on the day and of course those could change between now and the event.
At the moment of going to press (March 2022) please assume as an indoor event masks will be requested for those who do not have exemptions.
We will also be closely monitoring capacity and as such we will have timed entry tickets for the event. We will do our best to ensure you don’t queue long to get in.
A gentle reminder that the average length of time to see round the show is approx 1 to 1 1/2 hours. We wouldn’t recommend coming to the show as an all day event.
The 10am tickets are for the “Quiet Time” for those who have issues with crowds and noise. Numbers are limited for that slot with the general public arriving at 10:30am. Not all displays might be ready at 10am.
Under 14s must be accompanied by an adult.
Unfortunately Edinbrick 2020 was cancelled due to Covid. Despite various attempts to try and rearrange the event, we have only now, in 2022, managed to get the event organised!
Edinbrick 2019 returned to the Potterrow Dome on Saturday 18th May. With online tickets sold out in advance it was a busy day but a great time was had by the displayers and visitors, young and old. We are also delighted to say we raised £2849 for Fairy Bricks!
Edinbrick 2018 was held in Potterrow Dome on Saturday 26th May. The bigger venue meant more displays, more build tables and more trains and everyone that came along had a great time. Check out the pictures below!
What can we say about Edinbrick 2017? For our first Edinburgh show we expected 4-500 visitors, however we had over 1300 turn up! Despite the queues everyone was very understanding and had a good time. To see what was on show check out the gallery below.
